Wealdstone have completed the signing of former England U19 utility player Jack Mills from Hayes & Yeading.

The tall, versatile, 22 year-old is equally comfortable in the midfield or at full back, and can also play as a striker.

He has been a regular at Conference level for Hayes & Yeading, who he will come up against in the Conference South next season.

Screamer: Mills (centre) celebrates scoring a 25-yard stunner for Hayes & Yeading against Tonbridge Angels

Mills started out with the Reading Academy, signing pro forms in 2010, and it was during his time with the Royals that he had loan spells with Oxford City, and in Holland with Telstar.

Having been released by Reading in the summer of 2012, following a failed trial with Bradford City, he returned to Oxford before moving on to Staines in January 2013, and then Hayes & Yeading last summer.

He earned two England U19 caps in 2010, playing against Slovakia and Albania.

Another one: Toby Little in action for Chesham, from whom he signed for Wealdstone last week

Mills' capture follows the signing last Thursday of defender Toby Little from Southern Premier side Chesham United.

The 25 year old ex-Chelsea Academy player, who has represented England at both College and University level, can play in all positions in the left channel.

Little is another who has previously played for Hayes & Yeading United, as well as wearing the colours of Woking and Basingstoke Town.
