QPR target Andy Yiadom is set to complete a move to Huddersfield Town after news of him heading for a medical.

The Barnsley defender is set to complete the trip after successful talks between the Tykes and the Terriers.

He 25-year-old has been highly sought after this summer, with the likes of Swansea and QPR thought to be interest.

Yiadom only joined Barnsley last summer on a free transfer after a series of impressive performances for League Two outfit Barnet.

But interest has grown further in the player since he made his debut for Ghana in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Yiadom, who has also played for Hayes & Yeading and Braintree, has another year left on his contract at Oakwell, but is understood to have snubbed the offer on a new deal leading to interest from the Premier League newcomers.
