Queens Park Rangers are interested in bringing Watford defender Tommie Hoban on loan to Loftus Road, according to the Hertfordshire Mercury.
The 23-year-old spent last season at relegated side Blackburn Rovers, making 16 appearances for the Lancashire side.
His season was also disrupted by a long-term shoulder injury, which kept the defender out of action for four months.
Hoban has spoken of his desire to make a claim for a first team spot at Vicarage Road, but with high competition for places, he will likely spend another season out on loan.
The defence is a specific area of focus for QPR in the summer transfer window after Ian Holloway's side conceded 66 goals last season in a campaign which saw them finish 18th in the Championship.
QPR have also been linked with moves for Mike Williamson and Alex Bruce as they look to bolster their defensive options.
