The future of QPR target Saman Ghoddos remains up in the after the striker expressed his desire to stay at the club.

It's been reported that the Osterstund have received a bid in the region of £1.9m for the striker, although it's not confirmed whether this bid came from the Hoops, or whether the figure is accurate.

However the Osterstund chairman, Daniel Kindberg, has confirmed that he has received a bid for the 23-year-old, and would be open to selling at the right price.

Speaking to reputable Swedish publication Fotboll Direkt, he said: "I will not comment on the details, but we have received bids.

"If there is a good bid for both the club and the player, then we will listen. I would not mind 40m Krona (£3.8m), but we have not set a fee because we are not at that stage yet.”

Despite news of a bid, Ghoddos, who played a key part as Osterstund progressed to the group stages of the Europa League, said that he is looking forward to an exciting campaign with the Swedish club.

Speaking to Expressen, he said: “I’m very lucky to stay, I’m good at Östersund. I just want to play in the Europa League, and now I can join this adventure.”

When asked if he'd had any thoughts about a potential move, Ghoddos added: “No thoughts at all.”
