QPR target Omar Bogle looks set to complete a move to Championship rivals Cardiff City, according to reports by Wales Online.

It's expected that he will complete a move before the weekend for a fee in the region of £1m.

Bogle was in Cardiff on Wedneday for a medical ahead of the move, after Cardiff boss Neil Warnock teased the media by saying he'd made an offer for a player no-one had yet talked about.

The 6ft 3in front man currently plays for Wigan Athletic after moving from Grimsby Town in January this year.

He scored 19 goals in 27 appearances for Grimsby Town, before joining the Latics where he scored just three in 14 as his side were relegated to League One.

The news will come as a blow to the Hoops, as well Ipswich and Barnsley who were also thought to be keen.
