Birmingham City manager Harry Redknapp is rumoured to be interested in signing QPR striker Conor Washington during the upcoming transfer window, according to Vital Football.

The 25-year-old scored nine goals in 45 appearances for the R's last season, but could be targeted to inject some pace into the midlands-based side's offensive line.

Washington still has two years left on his contract with the London-based club, but with the Hoops looking to invest once again this summer, the striker could be moved on to fund new additions.

QPR signed Washington from Peterborough in January 2016 for a fee believed to be in the region of £2.5 million, and it is believed that the West London side would look to recoup the fee they paid for the striker.
