Danny Wishart has returned to Hayes & Yeading on a month-long loan deal from Alfreton Town.

The 21-year-old only swapped United for the Skrill Premier outfit in the summer after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.

A versatile player, Wishart possesses explosive pace and is equally comfortable operating as a centre-forward or wide on the left, although he even spent time at full-back last season.

He scored 11 goals in 109 appearances for Hayes & Yeading during his first stint after coming through the ranks at the club as a teenager.

United manager Phil Babb this week told the Gazette he has been given the green light to spend during the January transfer window.

Wishart’s arrival will help ease the strain on the squad following the departure of former Chelsea youngster Tom Bird on Monday.
