Dave Tarpey has returned to Hampton & Richmond Borough.
Tarpey’s contract at Farnborough was terminated by mutual consent this week and the striker has now returned to the Beveree.
Boro joint manager Paul Barry hopes Tarpey can help lighten the load on Charlie Moone and has welcomed him back to the club.
"It is wonderful news, and a great deal for the club at an important time,” he said.
“We have been looking for the right player to help Charlie out so hopefully Dave will hit the ground running.
“We may be in a position to confirm another new arrival in the next day or so, so watch this space."
Tarpey is in line to make his second debut at home to Bury Town this weekend, with Hampton chairman Steve McPherson looking forward to seeing him back in action.
"I have always wanted to bring Dave back to Hampton & Richmond,” he said.
“We were gutted when he left us the summer before last but we're over the moon that he's home.
"What will he bring? Hopefully goals goals and more goals! Everyone knows we have needed someone to help Charlie Moone out in that area, so if they click then we will have an attack to be proud of."
