QPR midfielder Massimo Luongo is thought to be on the radar of Nottingham Forest, according to a report from the Times.

The Australian international, who is currently away on Confederations Cup duty with the Socceroos, is thought to be high up on a list of transfer targets, following Evangelos Marinakis's £50m takeover at the City Ground.

Any move for the 24-year-old would certainly have to wait until after Australia's campaign in Russia has come to an end, and it remains to be seen whether a move to Forest would be of interest to the midfielder.

As well as Luongo, Forest are still thought to be interested in bringing defender Jake Bidwell to the City Ground, to be reunited with former-Brentford boss Mark Warburton.

Bidwell, 24, started his career at Everton before moving to the Bees, where he stayed until last summer.
