Harry Redknapp has given Bobby Zamora the green light to leave QPR.

The former Fulham frontman has been restricted to five league appearances this season due to a combination of injury problems.

Zamora has played just 45 minutes since undergoing knee surgery back in September and is now battling to overcome an ongoing hip condition.

QPR are short of options in attack, but Redknapp is ready to let the 33-year-old move on if he is unhappy with his bit-part role at Loftus Road.

Redknapp said: "If he wanted to move I wouldn't stand in his way, no more than a few other lads. If they're not playing and want to go you don't want unhappy players around.

"I'm happy to keep Bobby here because he's a good pro and a good player. We'll see what happens."
