QPR youngster Josh Bowler has completed his move to Everton for an undisclosed fee.

The Hoops yesterday agreed a fee with the Toffees, thought to be in the region of £1.5m, with the potential to rise to around £4m.

Bowler signed his first professional deal in February, but was reported to have rejected a new deal within the last month, signalling his intent to move if the opportunity arose.

Speaking of the move, QPR director of football Les Ferdinand said: "It's always disappointing when one of your young players expresses his desire to leave.

"However, the financial deal represents good value for a young player and whilst we are disappointed to see Josh leave, we wish him all the best for the future."

The winger made just one first team appearance for the Hoops, during their 4-0 defeat on the final day of the season against Norwich City.
