QPR midfielder Michael Doughty has extended his stay with League One side Gillingham for a further two months.

Doughty was originally due to return to Loftus Road on November 22 but will now stay with the Gills until January 24.

The 21-year-old started the season by scoring three goals in five appearances as he captained QPR's U21 side before his switch to Kent.

Doughty has since appeared twice for the League One outfit, making his debut in last month's 1-1 draw with Crawley Town.
