Social media is buzzing with a debate over Ravel Morrison, who looks set to sign on loan a second time for QPR - this time from Lazio.

The problem with mercurial talents like Morrison is all managers want to have a crack at digging the diamond out of the rock.

Harry Redknapp had a go when he brought the number 10 in on loan in February 2014 from the manager’s former club, West Ham, with mixed results.

‘Arry said his loan was a success but he left Morrison on the bench for the most important game of the season - the Championship play-off final at Wembley.

His parent club’s gaffer at the time was Sam Allardyce who like just about everyone before him praised the player’s undoubted talent and criticised Morrison’s application and lifestyle.

His move to Lazio in 2015 also raised questions much the same as above.

Now, Ian Holloway believes he can finally harness a good player, but one with obvious flaws.
