QPR boss Harry Redknapp has reignited his interest in Dynamo Kiev forward Niko Kranjcar.

The Croatian star featured 35 times on loan for Rangers last season but suffered a serious hamstring injury during the Hoops’ magnificent play-off final triumph at Wembley in May.

It was a problem that destroyed Kranjcar’s World Cup dream as he missed out on this summer’s festival of football in Brazil.

The dream is over: Kranjcar limps off at Wembley

Redknapp wants to sign six more players as he strengthens his squad for the start of the Premier League season, with a striker and a number 10 top of his list.

And the former Spurs chief, who worked with Kranjcar at White Hart Lane and Portsmouth, is keen on a reunion with the 29-year-old.

QPR have been on tour in Germany this summer and you can catch up with their European adventure in our gallery below.
