Diakite has moved to Vicarage Road for the rest of the season

QPR midfielder Samba Diakite has joined Watford on loan for the rest of the season.

The Mali midfielder is out of favour at Loftus Road and has been given the green light to move on by boss Harry Redknapp.

Diakite has joined the Hornets for the remainder of the campaign after the two clubs reached an agreement over his wages.

The 25-year-old has featured just once this season - in the Capital One Cup defeat to Swindon back in August.

He could make his Watford debut against Brighton on Sunday.
