QPR are rumoured to be among a number of clubs chasing Real Zaragoza striker Angel Rodriguez, according to the Daily Mail.

Hoops' scouts were said to have attended the club's match against Girona on Sunday, which the forward took part in.

The 30-year-old striker has enjoyed a successful two seasons at Zaragoza, having scored 21 goals in 39 appearances for the Spanish Segunda Division side this season.

Angel, who stands at 5 ft 6in tall, is free to leave his club this summer, with his current deal set to expire.

His previous clubs include Tenerife, Elche, Levante and Eibar, as well as a brief loan spell with Real Madrid B team, Castilla.

It's thought that QPR are leading the race for the striker, but face competition from Championship rivals Aston Villa, Hull City and Reading.
