QPR have confirmed the signing of Kazenga Lua Lua.

The Brighton winger, who spent the second half of last season at Loftus Road, has joined the club on a six-month loan deal.

Lua Lua’s spell at Loftus Road last year was riddled by injury during his time at the club, after missing two months of the season with an ankle injury.

It is thought that the 26-year-old is not in Chris Hughton’s plans at Brighton, with Holloway keen to add flair to his side, he says he's delighted to welcome him back.

Holloway said: "I am absolutely delighted to have Kaz back.

“I wasn’t actually sure it was going to be possible because he had such a good pre-season with Brighton and it was touch-and-go whether they were going to let him go out again.

“He is in a really good place after getting a very good pre-season under his belt, and this is a great opportunity for us.

“Some of the times when we used him last season, he turned games for us and I would prefer him to do that from the start of matches, rather than as a sub.

“He knows the lads here so he’ll settle straight into the group.”

The winger made 11 appearances while on loan at the club last season, and it’s thought that the player will be registered in time for their trip to Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.
