Harry Redknapp has dismissed reports linking QPR with a move for former Chelsea frontman Samuel Eto'o.
The Cameroon striker has been without a club since being shown the Stamford Bridge exit door at the end of the season.
Eto'o is understood to be keen to remain in London, but it appears Redknapp is ruling himself out of a move for the 34-year-old.
Meanwhile, QPR's move for Troy Deeney could depend on the future of Loic Remy, who is due to return to pre-season training with the Hoops shortly after his switch to Liverpool collapsed.
He said: “Troy Deeney is a player we are interested in, but there is nothing happening at the moment, and I don't know if we will pursue it or not."
