QPR boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed his interest in former Spurs star Rafael van der Vaart.

The Dutchman played under Redknapp during his time at White Hart Lane and Get West London revealed in June that the 67-year-old wanted a reunion with the Hamburg playmaker.

Redknapp has targeted SIX more signings as he reshapes his squad following promotion to the Premier League and confirmed van der Vaart is one of the names on his list.

He said: “I like Rafa. He’s a great footballer and good professional. He’s a goalscorer and will get you 10 or 12 a year in that position. He’s an interesting player for sure, he’s class.

"We’ve made some enquiries for a few players but we’ve got to wait to see what comes up."

Meanwhile, Redknapp has reignited his interest in Dynamo Kiev forward Niko Kranjcar.
