QPR have agreed a deal with Everton over the signing of young midfielder Josh Bowler, Get West London understands.

The Toffees have made two approaches for the 18-year-old so far this summer, but both were rejected by the Hoops.

If personal terms can be agreed, the deal is thought to be in the region of £1.5m, with the potential to rise to around £4m.

Bowler signed his first professional deal in February, but was reported to have rejected a new deal within the last month, signalling his intent to move if the opportunity arose.

The winger has made just one first team appearance for the Hoops, during their 4-0 defeat on the final day of the season against Norwich City.
