Petr Cech has confirmed he will thrash out his Chelsea future next week and urged the club to let him choose his destination.

The 33-year-old has a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge but is poised to leave SW6 this summer after falling behind Thibaut Courtois.

Cech is just six appearances shy of 500 for the Blues and has won four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, one Europa League crown and the Champions League.

But he has grown frustrated at playing second fiddle to the Belgian and has been linked with moves to Manchester United, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

Cech wants to get Friday’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Iceland out of the way before sitting down with Chelsea to discuss his potential transfer options.

He said: "First I have to agree with the club what the conditions would be for leaving. Next week we will have a meeting with Chelsea.

"At the moment it is with my agent. When it is clearer and all the cards are on the table, we will decide.

"I believe that for what I have done for the club and what the club has done for me, we can arrange it so we are all happy."

Jose Mourinho would prefer Cech to move abroad if he does indeed leave the Bridge.

And while the legendary Blues keeper is willing to consider all proposals, Cech has hinted remaining in England could be the simplest solution.

He added: "I keep all options open, regardless of the country. I will decide based on what is best for me and my family. It does not matter whether it is England, Germany, France or Spain.

"If I move, it brings difficulties. It must change everything, looking for housing, a school for children and so on.

"Therefore, the sooner I know what to do the better. I can plan everything and even rest before the new season."
