Olympiakos have signed Kostas Mitroglou from Fulham on a season-long loan.

The Greek side sold the striker to the Whites for £12million in January and GetWestLondon revealed earlier this month they were prepared to offer Mitroglou a way out of Craven Cottage.

And Fulham have confirmed that Mitroglou has joined his old club for the remainder of the campaign.

Mitroglou has been dogged by injury problems and was restricted to just one start and two more appearances off the bench as the Whites were relegated from the Premier League last season.

Boss Felix Magath has made it clear Mitroglou is not in his plans, with £11m signing Ross McCormack spearheading the Fulham's attack instead.

And Olympiakos have ended his sorry spell in SW6 by taking the striker back to Greece.
