Nottingham Forest have rejected QPR's £4million bid for defender Jamaal Lascelles.
The Hoops tabled an offer for the 20-year-old centre-back earlier this week but have been rebuffed by the Championship club.
Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a £5m swoop for the England youngster as boss Mauricio Pochettino looks to make his mark at White Hart Lane.
However, it is understood Lascelles, who is attracting attention from several Premier League clubs, is keen to remain up north.
Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has revealed QPR have agreed a deal to sign former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand when he returns to the UK.
