Rene Meulensteen has played down speculation linking Fulham with a January swoop for Manchester United defender Alexander Buttner.
The Dutchman worked with Buttner during his time as first-team coach at Old Trafford and was believed to be keen to bring his compatriot to west London.
However, Meulensteen insists he's in the dark over a potential move for the 24-year-old left-back.
When asked about the reported interest in Buttner, he replied: "Not that I know of. We're getting linked with more players everyday."
Fulham have plenty of cover at left-back, with Kieran Richardson and John Arne Riise fighting it out for the spot, while youngster Matthew Briggs and centre-half Fernando Amorebieta can also provide cover.
