Leicester City are considering a move for QPR striker Charlie Austin.

The former Burnley frontman smashed 20 goals in just 37 games for the Hoops last season as they clinched promotion back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Austin, who has also been linked with Sunderland, still has another two years remaining on his contract and is understood to be happy at Loftus Road.

However, Leicester are ready to swoop for the 25-year-old if they fail to land Brighton’s Leonardo Ulloa, according to The Sun on Sunday.
