Hayes & Yeading goalkeeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz has signed dual registration terms with Wealdstone.

The experienced goalkeeper joined United in the summer after being released by League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon.

Jaimez-Ruiz has played everywhere from his Venezuelan homeland to Romania with CFR Cluj and had a three-year stint with Aldershot Town from 2007 onwards.

He started the season as Phil Babb’s first-choice between the sticks but has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Australian-born keeper Jamie Young.

Babb has allowed him to share his time between Kingfield and Grosvenor Vale to get some minutes under his belt as he challenges Jonathan North for the Stones gloves.

First-choice: Jamie Young

Jaimez-Ruiz is keeping himself busy off the field. As well as studying for a degree, he recently started up a goalkeeping school after earning his UEFA B coaching license.

Meanwhile, Wealdstone boss Gordon Bartlett has also brought in speedy winger Bobson Bawling from Watford  on a work experience basis.

Stones are offering free coach travel to their crucial match at Lowestoft on Tuesday 17 December, departing the Vale at 3.30 pm, with a further pick point at Enfield at 4.30pm.
