Genoa have entered the race to sign Fulham striker Moussa Dembele, according to reports.

The French U18 international has been linked with Everton in recent weeks and said last week that he was flattered by their interest.

“I’m very flattered by the interest from top level clubs. I always want to improve, but I love Fulham and I respect Fulham, so I work hard to do my best,” the 18 year old said.

The Serie A club are now reported to have made a bid in the region of £360,000 for Dembele as they look to snap up the striker from under the Toffees' nose.

Kit Symons, though, is keen to hold on to his talented youngsters with Patrick Roberts also linked with a move to Manchester City.

Dembele joined Fulham in 2012 and scored twice against Derby in the 5-2 Capital One Cup defeat last season.
