Fulham are still in discussions with Chelsea over a price for Tomas Kalas, but will have to move fast after Hull had a bid accepted for the Czech international.
The club still hope they will be able to secure a move for Kalas, although Hull are in pole position at the moment, with Leonid Slutsky's ties with Roman Abramovic helping push through a deal for the Championship new boys.
However, GetWestLondon understands that Fulham remain hopeful they will sign the 24-year-old, with his preferred destination still being Craven Cottage.
Hull have agreed a bigger fee than what Fulham can offer, but the west London club hope that Kalas will tell Hull and Chelsea that he wants to sign for them, as opposed to Hull.
Slavisa Jokanovic is a huge admirer of the centre back and wants to make him a permanent Fulham player, while Kalas himself described staying at Fulham as "the perfect scenario" towards the end of last season.
