Fulham have completed the signing of Derby striker Chris Martin on a season-long loan deal.

The Whites have made signing a striker a priority after the departures of Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele.

And they have moved to sign the Rams frontman in a deal that has cost the club £2.5million and the west Londoners can sign him for £9million in January if they so choose.

The 27-year-old Scotland international started his career with Norwich and scored 23 times in 48 games to help the Canaries win League One in 2010.

The striker had loan spells with Crystal Palace, Swindon and Derby in following years.

He joined the Rams in 2013 and had a prolific season with the club in his first season, helping them to the play-off final where they were beaten by QPR.

Martin's Derby tally reads 61 goals in 148 appearances for the Rams.

The Whites also signed Lucas Piazon on loan from neighbours Chelsea.
