Get West London understands that Fulham are hoping to announce their first signing of the summer in the next few days.
The Whites have been linked with a number of players already this summer, but are yet to dip their toe into the market.
We revealed this week that Slavisa Jokanovic had tabled bids for three players - Montpellier striker Steve Mounie, Braga frontman Rui Fonte and Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan.
And it is our understanding that they are hoping to tie up their first summer signing imminently.
It remains to be seen whether it will be one of those three frontmen, or whether it will be someone completely different.
Newly-promoted Premier League side Huddersfield Town have also been eyeing a move for Mounie, while Newcastle are thought to be interested in Fonte - West Ham man Jose's brother.
Meanwhile, the Cottagers are also still interested in signing Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas on a permanent deal .
What is for certain is it is set to be an exciting few days and weeks for the Craven Cottage outfit.
