Fulham are preparing for life without Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele next season.

Norwich City reportedly remain confident about signing McCormack despite Fulham rejecting their £10m bid.

The Canaries are keen to land the proven striker, who scored 21 Championship goals last season, to boost their chances of promotion back into the Premier League.

Alex Neil’s side will need to pay around £12million, plus bonuses, to strike a deal for the Scottish international who signed from Leeds United for £11million in 2014.

Boss Neil, according to HITC Sport, has also made it clear to the club that he wants to secure a done deal soon.

Meanwhile, Slaviša Jokanović’s side are believed to be in advanced talks for a replacement for McCormack.

Mounié has been identified as the man to fire in the goals for the Whites next season and a £6million fee has been agreed in principle.

Wanted Fulham star McCormack wants top-flight football or at least the chance to battle for promotion which he doesn’t believe will be happen for Fulham in their new campaign.

The forward signed a new contract with the Whites earlier this year to keep him at Craven Cottage until 2020 after the club rejected a transfer request from him.
