Zakaria Labyad has promised Fulham fans that he will provide an attacking threat after agreeing to join the club on loan for the rest of the season.

The attacking midfielder became the Whites' second deadline day loan deal after Rohan Ince joined from Brighton.

Fulham have been only able to sign players on loan due to their transfer embargo but Labyad is hoping to prove himself a hit in England.

“Actually that’s a reason why they brought me to Fulham, because I like to play football,” he told the official website.

“Especially combination football, that’s the main thing, not just kick and rush!

“I’m an attacking player, I’m a creative player, I can score goals, and I’m a team player.

“Yes, I hope the fans will like my football style, but of course the most important thing is to win games.”

The 22-year-old has plied his trade in Holland and Portugual and he is now eager to put his skills to the test with Fulham in England.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of playing in the UK,” he said. “I’m very happy to play for Fulham. I’m on loan now and I’m very happy to be here.

“I’ve followed this club since Martin Jol was coach and since then I’ve always been following the football here in the UK. It’s always been a dream to play in the UK.”

He added: “They have good football players in Fulham and we should be higher in the table than we are now.”
