Fulham have made a £15million bid for Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle.

The 26-year-old was left out of the Newcastle squad for the side's win over West Ham and it is believed that Newcastle will consider bids for the striker as they look to offload him.

It is reported that Newcastle want nearer £20m for the striker, who scored 23 goals in all competitions for Newcastle last season as they claimed the Championship title.

Fulham have been on the lookout for strikers this summer and missed out on Steve Mounie and Diego Rolan, but have added Aboubakar Kamara and Rui Fonte to their squad.

The club sold Sone Aluko last night to Reading in a reported £7.5m deal, while the club have also been linked with Brentford's Jota before the transfer window deadline.
