If at first you don’t succeed – throw a bit more money at it.
It’s what Fulham boss Kit Symons might be thinking after the club went back in for Brighton defender Lewis Dunk.
Fulham have reportedly tabled a £4m bid for centre-back Dunk and are waiting for a response from the Seagulls, after two previous bids of £3m and £2.5m were rejected.
The Whites are hoping to steal a march on their Premier League rivals for 6ft 4ins Dunk's signature by upping the bid and hoping money talks after recouping a prospective £11m from the sale of Patrick Roberts to Man City.
Everton, Newcastle, Stoke, West Brom and Norwich are also interested in the 23 year-old, with Brighton determined to hang on to their prized asset.
