Fulham have completed the signing of Arsenal midfielder Thomas Eisfeld.

The German youngster came through the ranks at Borussia Dortmund before moving to the Gunners in January 2012.

Eisfeld has penned a two-year contract at Craven Cottage and has an option to extend his stay by a further 12 months.

He made senior Arsenal debut in a 7-5 League Cup win over Reading in October 2012 and notched his first goal in his second Gunners appearance against West Brom last term.

“Thomas Eisfeld has joined Fulham for an undisclosed fee,” read a statement on Arsenal’s website.

“A player with a keen eye for goal, Eisfeld also netted three times for the senior side during the club’s 2012 and 2013 pre-season Asia Tours.

“Everyone at the club would like to thank Thomas for his contribution and to wish him well for the future.”

Felix Magath has now made eight summer signings at the Cottage and remains keen to strengthen further as the Whites bid to return to the Premier League.
