Fulham are closing in on a deal to bring Luke Garbutt in on loan from Everton as Whites manager Kit Symons look to create a more sturdy back four for next season.
Reports coming out of Merseyside have suggested that the Whites are leading the race for the highly rated full back.
Garbutt agreed a new deal with the Toffees in the summer but, with Leighton Baines and Bryan Oviedo ahead of him in the Goodison Park pecking order, the full back is set to go out on loan.
Bournemouth were reportedly interested in the 22-year-old, who has made 11 appearances for the Merseyside club, and it appears that he will further his development at Fulham.
He has previously spent time out on loan at Colchester and Cheltenham .
The Whites have also made a £4million bid for Lewis Dunk but it appears that Brighton have, once again, rejected the bid.
