Fulham have made a bid for Braga forward Rui Fonte.

The 27-year-old signed for the Portuguese side from Benfica in 2016 and scored eleven goals in 30 appearances for the side last season in the Portuguese Liga.

Fonte previously had spells with Arsenal as a youngster, as well as Crystal Palace, Sporting, and Espanyol, while he has starred in the Portuguese U21 side, scoring eight goals.

Fonte, who can play as a forward or a winger, signed a three-year deal with Braga last year and currently has two remaining on his deal.

He is the younger brother of West Ham and Portugal star Jose, and were team mates together in Sporting's youth side as well as at Palace.

Meanwhile, Fulham have also made a bid for Steve Mounie of Montpellier and have listed two players as available for loan.
