Fulham have agreed a deal for attacking Genk midfielder Neeskens Kebano.

The two clubs have agreed a £3.8million initial fee for the Democratic Republic of Congo international but this could rise if the Whites get promoted.

Kebano was expected to fly to London on Tuesday in order to undergo a medical before tying up the loose ends of his transfer from the Belgian team.

His arrival will come as a relief to Fulham head coach Slavisa Jokanovic, who has become frustrated with the Craven Cottage club’s lack of activity in the market.

The Serbian supremo vented his frustrations after Saturday’s stalemate with Cardiff and pointed the finger squarely at data analyst Craig Kline for blocking deals.

"It generally depends on this guy [Kline] who is going to sign for us or not," Jokanovic explained. "The last decision is in the hands of this man. It is not my business."

Transfer warning: Slavisa Jovanovic
Missed opportunity: Andreas Pereira

"I'm a little bit disappointed because no one knows who this guy [Kline] is. Instead he's sitting in the directors box.

"I want to take responsibility for how I work with my team and how they perform but I am not part of the recruitment business.

“It is in the hands of people who believe they're more prepared."

Kline was brought to the Whites by Tony Khan, the son of the club's American owner Shahid, and works alongside chief football officer Mike Rigg on recruitment at the Cottage.

Manchester United's Andreas Pereira is just one of the players Jokanovic had hoped to sign, only for Fulham transfer chiefs to put the brakes on a move.

Kebano’s expected capture should ease relations somewhat as he adds creativity to an attack weakened by the loss of last season’s top two marksman this summer.

He scored four goals in 26 league appearances for Genk since after joining last summer and began his career with Paris Saint-Germain in France.
