Former Fulham man Ashkan Dejagah has left Wolfsburg after the club decided against extending his contract, with fans split on whether they'd like to see him back at Craven Cottage.

The 30-year-old joined the Cottagers from Wolfsburg in 2012 and played two seasons at the club before leaving for Al-Arabi after Fulham were relegated, although he was named as Player of the Season.

He rejoined Wolfsburg in January 2017 on a six-month deal but the club have decided against renewing his contract, and fans in west London are split on whether they would like to see him return to the club now that he is a free agent, although there is a lot of support for a return.
