Former Fulham defender Chris Smalling looks set to leave Manchester United this summer with three clubs reportedly vying for his signature.

The 27-year-old signed for the Cottagers in 2008 after making a name for himself at Maidstone United, but only played 19 appearances before making the move to Old Trafford in 2010, where he's made more than 240 appearances whilst being capped 31 times for England.

And according to the Daily Star , Jose Mourinho looks set to allow one defender to leave United this summer, with Crystal Palace, Everton and West Ham all interested in the defender.

He made his debut for Fulham in 2009 during a 2-0 loss to Everton in the final match of the 2008/09 season and made his first start for the club the following season in a 1-1 draw with CSKA Sofia.
