AFC Wimbledon have completed the signing of former Arsenal keeper James Shea.

Get West London revealed back in May that the Dons were lining up a move for the Harrow Borough man as a replacement for Seb Brown.

And Kingsmeadow Neal Ardley has now snapped up the 23-year-old, along with Basingstoke youngster Joe McDonnell, to provide competition for Ross Worner.

“Goalkeeper is a position that we want to have a competitive edge in and we did not feel we had enough of that last season," Ardley told the club's website.

"James brings different qualities because he has great feet and he’s very good with his communication. Pre-season will determine who gets the number one jersey for the opening day out of these two goalkeepers.”
