AFC Wimbledon keeper Ross Worner has rejoined Woking on a month's loan.

The 24-year-old started his career at Kingfield and has been brought back to the club after an injury to No1 Aaron Howe.

Worner was a virtual ever-present between the sticks at the Dons last season but has lost his place to summer signing James Shea.

However, the former Charlton and Aldershot man will get the chance of regular game time with Conference outfit Woking.

Dons boss Neal Ardley said: “I did not want Ross to leave, but he was desperate to go out and get games. We will get a goalkeeper back who has played matches at a competitive level if we need him.”

Worner is likely to make his debut in Saturday's home clash with Chester. He joins Wimbledon team-mate Chris Arthur on loan at Kingfield.
