Dan Burn has played his last game for Fulham as Slavisa Jokanovic begins to convert his adopted Whites into a top-six challenging outfit.

Burn, who made 69 appearances in all competitions for the club, announced the decision via Twitter on Sunday as the club chose not to take up an option to extend his deal.

Jokanovic announced yesterday that the goal for next season will be a top six spot for the Cottagers , and has already made the first move in trying to achieve that goal.

The 6ft6 centre-back has endured a frustrating season as the Whites' difficult transition to England's second tier continued, and played 32 times as Fulham's leaky defence conceded 79 Championship goals.

The club are known to be having a Sunday debrief after the Whites ended their season with a 1-0 win over Bolton .

And the 23-year-old has looked back on his time with Fulham fondly - even including a parting shot at rivals Brentford.
