Sullay Kaikai has insisted that he will be at Brentford for the rest of the current season and the Eagles won't be activating their recall clause.

Much like the last three transfer windows, the bulk of the rumours have been about players leaving Griffin Park.

Palace have a recall clause in Kaikai's loan deal but the young winger does not see them triggering it and is only focused on impressing at Griffin Park.

“I'm here until the end of the season,” he said. “There is a chance Palace could call me back but, in my mind, I'm here to the end of the season and I just want to do as well as I can for Brentford.”

Since joining Brentford, the Eagles parted company with Alan Pardew and brought in former England manager Sam Allardyce.

A new manager may have new ideas but, as of yet, Kaikai is yet to speak with his parent club's manager.

He added: “I haven't spoken to Sam Allardyce yet but I'm focused on what I'm doing at Brentford.”
