Frank Lampard is one of 10 players who have been 'released' by Chelsea as Premier League teams begin their summer clear outs.

The 35-year-old midfielder now heads to the World Cup with England as a free agent, but is expected to negotiate a new deal at Stamford Bridge giving fans hope they might not have seen the last of him.

Team-mates Samuel Eto'o and goalkeepers Mark Schwarzer and Henrique Hilario are also on the 'released' list as is Ashley Cole, who announced last week he was leaving the Blues.

The other players who are available on a free transfer are defenders Sam Hutchinson, Adam Nditi and Daniel Pappoe and forwards Milan Lalkovic and Jhon Pirez.
