Chelsea youngster Lucas Piazon admits he doesn’t know where he will be playing his football next season.
Piazon has been enjoying his time back in the Chelsea fold but is unsure whether Jose Mourinho plans to keep him in London for the 2014-15 campaign just yet.
“It’s always nice to be here and to see everybody again and to see the friends that I’ve spent a lot of time with,” he told the official Chelsea website.
“I don’t know what is going to happen but at the moment I’m really happy to be here. I will play in pre-season until we make a decision and I will try to do what’s the best thing for me.”
Brazilian Piazon struck 11 goals in 29 games in the Dutch Eredivisie for Vitesse last season and believes the experience will be of benefit to him in the future.
“It was a really good experience,” he added.
“I played a lot of games which is very important for me now. I think I did a good job in the beginning.
“After about February until the end of the season the team dropped a little bit but if you see the season as a whole I think it was a good one for me.”
Chelsea open their pre-season fixture list with a trip to Adams Park to take on Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow night.
Piazon could feature in Buckinghamshire, with a mixture of first-team players and young hopefuls expected to play.
