Chelsea flop Radamel Falcao has revealed he snubbed offers to join the Chinese football revolution.

The misfiring striker, on loan at Stamford Bridge from Monaco this season, has been plagued by injuries and a lack of form since arriving in the Premier League.

A disastrous spell at Manchester United has been followed by another dismal campaign with the Blues and the Colombian has yet to make an appearance in 2016.

He is back in training with Guus Hiddink’s side at Cobham and is determined to prove his worth in England after turning down interest from the Far East.

"It's true that I had two different offers from Chinese football, but I stayed in England in order to give myself the opportunity," Falcao told El Tiempo.

"To go there would have been the easiest way, because it was a great offer, but I wanted to stay.

"People have the right to their opinions and I know that my career is public, just as I know that everything can change in football.

“It's true that you can't always win, you have to keep working and believe that the situation will be better in future.

Life in the shadows: Falcao looks dejected

"I'm thinking about what I can do at the club before May. I'm not looking beyond that. Staying depends on many things, not only me.

“I try to give my best in training in order to get an opportunity, but things will be analysed when decisions have to be made."

A leaked copy of Falcao’s loan agreement emerged in January, claiming Hiddink’s side must inform Monaco by April 29 if they wish to take up an option on the player.

The price, the document claims, has been set at €50million and this would be paid in two installments. The first payment would be made within seven days.

"I am focused on the club and just live in the present," Falcao added. "Football changes very fast and what today can't happen, tomorrow can.

"I'm not thinking about what might happen on April 29.

“My job is to give my best and when the time comes to make decisions, we will analyse everything and see, because everything can change in football.

"Today I think about what Chelsea can do from now to May. I do not look beyond that. Me staying here will depend on many factors, it doesn't depend just on my decision.

"That's why I try to give my best in training to have a chance but this will be discussed when we need to make a final decision."
