It’s been another busy morning here on the transfer desk , so now it’s time for a quick round-up of what we’ve learnt so far.
Hull City are reportedly considering an offer for one of their star players as Premier League clubs look to offer him an instant return to the top-flight.
It’s all kicking off at Reading with new faces coming in, both on and off the pitch, as Steve Clarke looks to really put his stamp on the Royals.
And there’s plenty going on in Wales too, with Cardiff particularly busy, as teams across the UK get ready for the big kick-off.
Here’s a look at what has been making headlines so far today...
Montevideo-born Amondarain was signed by former Bluebirds manager Malky Mackay two years ago, but was unable to make the grade under the Scot, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or Russell Slade.
City manager Slade has agreed to cancel Amondarain’s four-year contract by mutual consent and he leaves the club immediately.
Slade is set to cut six or seven players from his first team squad between now and the end of the season and the departure of Amondarain comes outside of that number.

Hull: Norwich City have made a bid for Hull City's Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady, sources have told ESPN FC.
Aston Villa and West Ham are among a host of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the versatile player.
Brady 38 appearances for the Tigers last season and has become a regular in Martin O'Neill's international squads.
Derby County: Sunderland have been linked with a move for Derby County’s £4m-rated defender Richard Keogh.
The Black Cats’ search for defensive reinforcements is no secret, with a move for Liverpool’s Sebastian Coates already in the works, while Celtic’s Virgil van Dijk and out-of-contract Aston Villa man Ron Vlaar are also targets.
But Derby skipper Keogh’s name has now been added into the mix.
The 28-year-old former Bristol City, Carlisle United and Coventry City man is reportedly wanted by West Bromwich Albion, but Sunderland are also credited with an interest.
Birmingham City: Our colleagues at the Birmingham Mail understand Birmingham City are not willing to sell top scorer Clayton Donaldson.
Speculation has mounted this week that Leeds are interested in taking the Bradford-born striker back to Yorkshire.
There was even a suggestion yesterday that new Leeds boss Uwe Rosler had already made a bid for the 31-year-old.
However, we understand there has not been any such offer and even if there is one, it is clear it would not be welcomed.

Reading: Orlando Sa has said his goodbyes to Legia Warsaw fans ahead of completing his £1 million switch to Reading.
The 27-year-old Portuguese striker completed a medical with Royals yesterday before finalising his switch to Madejski Stadium.
He has now flown back to Portugal to tie up his loose ends but will return to England next week to link up with his new teammates and travel to Thailand for Royals' pre-season tour.
The move brings to an end Sa's one-and-a-half year stay in Warsaw, where he scored 15 goals for the Ekstraklasa club.
He was a hugely popular figure with the Legia fans and was named their player of the year last season.
