Brentford and Queens Park Rangers have both made their first signings of the summer, while Fulham are expected to announce their in the coming days.

But what about the rest of the Championship?

The merry-go-round is already turning, with pre-season just around the corner and here we take a look at the big rumours in the Championship right now.

  • Charlie Taylor, the full-back who refused to play for Leeds United at the end of last season, looks set to secure a move to the Premier League with Burnley the likely destination. Taylor snubbed a new contract offer at Elland Road and has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Turf Moor side ahead of a summer move.
  • Leicester City are in "advanced talks" with Norwich City over teen star Benny Ashley-Seal. The 18-year-old is highly regarded at Carrow Road, despite having never appeared for the first team and could soon find himself on the books of the former Premier League champions.
  • Stewart Downing has been told by new boss Garry Monk that he can leave Middlesbrough this summer and there is a surprise name in the frame for the veteran midfielder's services - newly promoted Brighton. The Seagulls are reportedly weighing up a move for the 32-year-old.
