Celta Vigo are the favourites to land Fulham midfielder Jozabed.
The 26-year-old had spent the second half of the season on loan at the La Liga club, but returned to Craven Cottage after Celta refused to meet the buy clause agreed with Fulham in the loan deal, which was believed to be €4million.
Celta Vigo remained hopeful that Fulham would drop their asking price, but after strong interest from La Liga rivals Real Betis it seems the club are now willing to up their offer to €3.5million - a price Fulham are likely to accept.
Betis were hopeful that Celta Vigo's unwillingness to meet Fulham's valuation would allow them to swoop in and offer Jozabed a chance to return to the area of Spain he was born in, but it now looks like Celta are back in the driving seat.
Jozabed made 19 appearances while on loan in Spain last season and is keen to return back to his home country having failed to settle in England, and formed team mate Iago Aspas is hopeful he will return to the club ahead of next season .
